Parks Victoria's Junior Ranger Program
The Junior Ranger Program helps provide opportunities for children (aged 6-12) and their families to participate in self guided and Ranger led interpretive activities.
When you visit a park, how much do you really see? Can you identify a bush supermarket? Do you know which native plants will reduce the sting of an insect bite? Could you spot a sugar-glider high in a Eucalypt tree, or pick out the scent of a sleeping Koala? What do you know about the history of the landscape, from the Dreamtime through to the present day?
Delivered by Park Rangers during school holidays and on some weekends, a variety of walks, talks and other activities are available across Victoria's parks.
Visit the Junior Ranger Program website for information on upcoming Ranger Led and self guided activities.
